A quick guide from Marmar glamping to the essentials you need to remember
COMFORT
GLAMPING
Even though glamping offers the same level of comfort as a hotel, the weather in our region can change significantly during the day. Be sure to review our checklist and took everything you needed with you.
Clothing and essentials
We provide free of charge:
  • Shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, and hand cream (made from biodegradable materials that do not harm our water system). If you bring your own cosmetics, please check the ingredients (do not use products containing phosphates, chlorine, sulfates, parabens, or chemical fragrances. Surfactant levels are no more than 5%).
  • Beach towel and snow-white shower towels
  • Drinking water
  • Hairdryer
  • Baby bib, potty, toilet seat, and silicone utensils
  • Maternity pillow
  • Plates/soup bowls/glasses/cutting boards/knives
  • Drying rack
  • Tea
Available for an additional fee:

  • Marshmallows
  • Charcoal, fire starter, and marinated meat
  • Tick and mosquito repellent spray
  • Children's mosquito spray

It's recommended to bring:

Sunscreen and a swimsuit (there's a warm lake nearby where you can swim, as well as hot tubs and a sauna)
Sunglasses
Toothbrush, toothpaste, and personal toiletries
Slippers or warm socks
Walking shoes (waterproof ones are best)
Rubber boots (we have gravel paths, but we are in the forest, after all)
Waterproof coat and/or raincoat
Warm fleece or a sweater
A change of clothes and underwear (we recommend an extra set in case you get wet)
Flip-flops and a robe
Backpack for walking
Chargers and power banks for your gadgets
Headgear
If you're traveling with your beloved pet, be sure to bring a leash, bags, bowls, food, and a bed!
Entertainment
You can rent, buy, or ask our receptionist for:
  • Binoculars - in spring and fall, you can watch migratory birds like wild geese and swans
  • Acoustic guitar
  • A camera to capture beautiful sunsets and fog
  • A good book/magazine, chess, or board games (you can borrow them for your stay in the cafe)
  • Fishing rods, SUPs, boats, and other sports activities
  • Children's toys and books
It's recommended to bring:
  • A tablet or laptop if you can't live without your favorite TV shows and movies (Wi-Fi is available, but it's best to download the movie to your device first)
  • Handicrafts or hobbies (it's so nice to have an outdoor painting session or knit some socks with a beautiful view)
  • Music speaker (please remember to turn off the music after 9:00 PM)
FOOD
We have a restaurant serving Karelian cuisine, drinks, and snacks. Breakfast is included. We provide barbecue grills near each room, so you can travel light (charcoal, kindling, and marinated meat are available for purchase at the café).
